The things you seek are seeking you!

The past few weeks have been very interesting. I’ve gotten a lot done. But the one thing which has jumped out at me is the demonstration of this passage in the Master Keys:

Abundance will not come to you out of the sky, neither will it drop into your lap, but a conscious realization of the law of attraction and the intention to bring it into operation of a certain, definite and specific purpose, and the will to carry out this purpose will bring about the materialization of your desire by a natural law of transference. If you are in business, it will increase and develop along regular channels, possibly new or unusual channels of distribution will be opened and when the law becomes fully operative, you will find that the things you seek are seeking you.

Here’s how it went: I’m writing a book, the sequel to the novel I published back in November. It’s almost done; I’m going to release it October 1st. So I’ve been spending some time promoting the first one. Well, I’ve had new and unusual (to me) channels of distribution (or to be more precise, marketing) open up to me. And for the first time, I’ve had people begin coming to ME asking if they might promote my book.

Mind blowing!

I hope your summer (or winter) is going well. I’m looking forward to the new Master Key Experience starting in September. It’s been really cool to see how much my three friends (and those who finished the course in my tribe) have had their lives change. I can’t wait to see what happens over the next year. πŸ˜€

Darkness

This week has gone well, and for my old blueprint, darkness tends to follow.

This time, I asked myself: Why should I feel this way when things are going well?

darknessThis month’s reading in The Greatest Salesman is about multiplying your own value. It makes the analogy of a wheat seed and how it multiplies from one to many seeds, which then multiply to many more. But in this, Og Mandino writes:

To grow and multiply it is necessary to plant the wheat grain in the darkness of the earth and my failures, my despairs, my ignorance, and my inabilities are the darkness in which I have been planted in order to ripen.

So darkness has value.

I’ve felt that darkness has value for a long time now. I feel as if much of the problems of the world are an attempt not to feel, not to think, to avoid the potentially dark areas in ourselves, as if they had some sort of power. But they only have power when ignored and suppressed, as far as I can tell.

I get the feeling that a lot of people – in and out of the Master Key Experience – are surprised or put off that one of the items on my DMP is a story which is so dark that I’ve seen people read the back cover, put it down, and walk away, saying, “I can’t read this.”

I admit, it’s not for everyone. But neither is it simply a wallow in darkness. I believe that stories have great power, and when you’re in darkness yourself having someone tell you, “see, there’s someone else here too” is a comfort that those who shy away from it will never be able to give. But you have to be willing and able to go there in order to help.

Darkness has its own beauty as well. The smallest bit of light becomes even brighter, and this is where the seed is transformed, reborn if you will, to become something it could never have been otherwise.

Do you think the seed is doing well? It’s doing what it was meant to do, becoming what it was intended to become.

I realized this week that asking why I might be in darkness when things are going well was the wrong question. The real question is: am I doing what I was meant to do? Am I becoming what I was intended to become? Am I breaking the hard crust of cement which has surrounded my life? If so, darkness might be exactly where I need to be right now. πŸ™‚

Week 23: deep thought

Deep thought.mar-1203345_640

As I mentioned in my last post, most people will do just about anything to avoid thinking.

I see it all around me: people asking questions when a two second Google search would do. Collecting opinions to see what everyone else thinks about an intensely personal matter.

I don’t believe it has anything to do with wanting to fit in – it’s about the fear of deep thought, an intense fear of what you might hear inside, if you would just stop and listen.

People are so … distrustful of themselves, of their own hearts, so wanting to control and avoid whatever they are so terrified might happen, that they would rather look unintelligent, dependent, and incapable than spend just a few minutes in deep thought.

Haanel puts it this way:

Β The average person is entirely innocent of any deep thinking; he accepts the ideas of others, and repeats them, in very much the same way as a parrot; this is readily seen when we understand the method which is used to form public opinion, and this docile attitude on the part of a large majority who seem perfectly willing to let a few persons do all their thinking for them is what enables a few men in a great many countries to usurp all the avenues of power and hold the millions in subjection.

If you’re here, I’m assuming you don’t want to be like the average person – instead, you want to make a difference, to improve your life, to make things better inside yourself and around you.

So why is thinking important? Who cares if we think or not? How does thinking benefit us?

Some of you are laughing right now. Others of you are serious. It’s the second group I want to address.

Bottom line: Silent, prolonged, deep thought is how you connect with the Universal Mind (Whatever you want to call it/him/her. Don’t get twisted up about the name.)

There is nothing mystical about it. Not one thing.

Have you ever been really focused on finding a solution to a problem then … AHA! … the answer comes to you? Remember that feeling. Hold onto it. What happened is called inspiration.

From dictionary.com:

Inspiration: noun. 5. Theology. a. A divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul.

Okay, now, if you don’t believe in divine influence, fine. But something happened there, something which is important, something we can use to our benefit.

Notice what happened before that AHA moment? You were exercising deep concentrated thinking. You were thinking very intently on your problem. And then BAM! – the answer came, as if out of nowhere. But it wasn’t out of nowhere. In that instant, you made the connection – to whoever or whatever you want to call it – and got your answer.

And you can get that answer again, to any question you want answered. Anything. World peace, end hunger, that one thing in your life you always yearned for, it doesn’t matter how big or small it is. You can get the inspiration … the answer to any question you have. You just have to learn how.

(which is what the Master Key Experience teaches you)

Now, I’m not saying I’m enlightened or achieve this all the time. If anything, I’m a student. But I’ve gotten the answers to things which frankly amaze me, things I very much wanted the answers to.

(that’s part of the equation, by the way – you have to really truly want the answer … which means getting the blocks like fear, etc out of the way first … )

You have a couple of choices. You can keep reading along and hope you can figure it out on your own. Or you can take a step forward into understanding yourself.

I have a brief pamphlet written in the 1930’s called The Seven Day Mental Diet. If you follow the instructions in it, you’ll begin seeing a lot about yourself and others. If you’d like a copy, let me know.

Week 22: if you want something done …

I had forgotten which week the Silence was, but when Mark J said this was the week I got right on it – booked a hotel room, and went quiet from Monday afternoon to just a bit ago today. It was good.

But while I was keeping quiet, I thought of all the things which have been going on lately in my life. As it turns out, I’ve met another goal on my DMP, although not exactly the way I had planned to: I wanted a certain amount of money by a certain date, but while I thought I had specified where this was coming from, subby interpreted what I wrote in an equally legitimate way! And the money arrived. πŸ™‚

Now I feel, though, as if it’s time to get serious.

Check out this Google search:

Capture

(I find that last one amusing)

But really, when it boils down to it, the best way to get something done is to have subby do it.

Last week, I was thinking “the floor needs scrubbing” – and I go out not ten minutes later and my son is working on it. He got the idea and motivation to do it and he gets up and down a lot easier than I do, and so it was done.

(as it turned out he only did part of it but the whole process amazed me)

It puts a new twist on the whole matter of doing things, because sometimes we stress and strain yet we might not even be the right person to do the job. We don’t know. But subby does know, and if we will just say what we want with enough precision, using emotion and enthusiasm, it will use the proper people and methods to get the job done. We just have to get all the voices out telling us we can’t do it out of the way.

Week 14: a universe

I hope all of you have had a good holiday.

Mine was better than most years, but then all of 2015 has been pretty amazing. You’re welcome to go back and read for yourself.

I don’t feel as if I have anything profound to say this week. I’ve been focused on spending time with my family and preparing to go to New Orleans next week to sell my book at Wizard World Comic Con.

But as a former physician whose Bachelor’s degree was in microbiology, I particularly liked Haanel’s reference to the microscopic world and how our cells are both intelligent and resourceful in carrying out their tasks.

I’ve read that a drop of intestinal flora carries more living creatures than the stars in the known universe. Quadrillions of them, bearing their children and living their lives. Each of us is a universe in our own right, and that thought makes me smile, remembering Men In Black and the galaxies in the game at the end.

And then of course one of my favorite scrolls began yesterday. We are nature’s greatest miracle indeed.

Week 7: a little bit of this, a little bit of that

All sorts of stuff has been happening for me this week! It’s been difficult to narrow it down to one topic, so I hope you don’t mind a bit of a list.men-working-978394_640

As Mark J likes to say: you want a friend, get a dog. Confronting people on their bullshit is hard for me; my old blueprint is all about people liking me and avoiding conflict at all costs.

Well, I came across someone who is both manifesting some intensely interesting things and turning away from what they insist that they really want, simply out of fear, and I called them out on it.

I don’t think they’re real happy with me, but you know what? I no longer care (for more than about 20 minutes to cry about the fact that they’re upset with me, anyway) what others think of me. What this person is doing leads to the dark side.

The things they’re manifesting (to me, anyway, but of course this is just my opinion) seem to be the visualizations of others rather than anything they said that they want.

That is the big danger of not having control of your mind: you see examples of people getting their dreams (or nightmares) in living color, and your subby, for lack of any real vision on your part, manifests that instead.

To me, this is just more cement!!

I almost fell into that trap last year, and it took me a while to see that no, I don’t NEED or HAVE to want what others — even others I respect, honor, and admire — want.

It’s okay to want what I want. I am worth something.

What people don’t seem to realize is that, contrary to popular belief, you’re ALWAYS manifesting things. Every waking minute. So you better have YOUR dreams front and center, in detail, or you’ll get swept away in everyone else’s visions that produce emotion in you.

Subby is a simple little thing, who just wants to give you more of what makes you have strong emotion, whether “good” or “bad” emotion (subby can’t tell the difference).

So you have to VISUALIZE what YOU want, with EMOTION.

Or as Mark loves to say, ENTHUSIASM!

I was sitting this morning reading my DMP and the truth of this finally hit me: when you get your two most important needs met (your PPNs) then the rest come along.

I really can have everything a person could possibly want. Not only True Health and Legacy, but Helping Others, Recognition for Creative Expression, Liberty, Autonomy, and Spiritual Growth.

That feels really good.

In other news: my book The Jacq of Spades is available to buy! Another successful development from my DMP. πŸ™‚

Week 3: refusing the call

Being a Master Key Experience guide gives me a unique perspective on the course. Not only am I doing the course again with the members (and getting new insights on my own) but I’m watching fifteen people make – or not make – their own Hero journeys.

Every hero refuses the call at first. That refusal can be anything:

  • procrastination to the point where they miss the application deadline (about 400 people did that),
  • confusion to the point where they don’t do any of the work and are eventually asked to leave,
  • defensiveness: refusal to get help when they clearly need it or arguing when they do get some,
  • manifesting obstacles,
  • all the way to downright saying “I’m out”.

These are people who are simply being asked to answer the question: what do you want?

As far as I know no one has been actually asked to leave yet in the over 600 people enrolled, but I’m sure there will be some fireworks to come. πŸ™‚

What is refusing the call about? Fear.

It’s interesting that Haanel spends most of part 3 talking about fear, since so much of it is coming out right about now. The solution for it is expressed best in the week 3 study questions:

How may fear be completely eliminated?

By an understanding and recognition of the true source of all power.

I feel like these first few weeks are the most difficult of the course … like weeks 2-6. In week 1, you’re all pumped up, ready for anything. Then it sort of stops being so exciting and fun and begins to feel like work. Lots of stuff to do but maybe not so much happening yet. I remember those days very well.

But then once you accept the call, step across into the unknown, you begin to ‘get it’ – the light bulb turns on, you start seeing what this is really all about and it becomes much easier.

Some people are beginning to get it even now: the realization that YOU can change your life, that YOU have power, not because “you’re being your own god” as some ignorant person put on Facebook, but because God/The Universe/whatever is IN YOU, is directly connected to your subconscious mind, and you have the ability to communicate directly to that Power.

Every religious figure and most philosophers have said this over the past 6000 years, but people still want to cling to the old blueprint that tells them some authority figure or organization or society needs to tell them what to do and think in order to be okay instead of relying on the power within them like their own religious books tell them to do. It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

But I’m seeing some amazing breakthroughs as people do the work and really wrestle with these questions on their own. It’s truly exciting to see what can happen when you stop refusing the call.

Week 1: and round we go

I’ve been thinking of how much things have changed since I began this journey a year ago. I look back at my old posts during this week last year, read (as I do every morning) my signed Blueprint Builder, dated on this date last year, and I’m amazed.

Then today I got a list of the people who will be in my tribe as a Guide, and I see how though each has his or her own journey and issues and ways they will (or won’t – hopefully they will all make it but it’s up to each of them) change their lives, and I feel very humbled at the opportunity to be of service, in whatever way I can.

It’s an exciting, scary time, to start on a new adventure. I’m glad you’re here along for the ride.

Master Key Experience Course Launch Starts in 5 Days!

The 2015 Master Key Experience launch is starting September 10th! If you know anything about me or my family at all, you know how much our lives have changed over the past year since I participated in this program. This year:ocean

  • I got serious about publishing my novel, which comes out in December
  • I took my dream vacation in Hawaii
  • I made significant breakthroughs in my weight, my health condition, and my business

But it wasn’t just me who benefited. This year:

  • My husband began to change his life too
  • After years of battle, suddenly everyone is pitching in to do housework!
  • One of my sons began to open up to me, and our relationship has improved dramatically. I think this means more to me than anything else.

I am so grateful for this program, and believe so much that everyone should take it, that I participated in the “Pay It Forward” scholarship program. All you have to do is apply and pay a $1 USD (yes, ONE dollar) to join. The rest of this $2000 course is paid for by last year’s members, who believe as I do that this is worth it.

But this course — as you can imagine — fills up fast. You can get early notification and notice of any updates by signing up on the list below.

3 reasons to find out about the MKE

You might be wondering why you care about the Master Key Experience. What’s in it for you? Well, a lot.

Here are some reasons you might want to find out more about this program:

  1. If you’re willing to do the work, you can completely change your life for the better. If your life is perfect, you have everything you want, and you can effortlessly manifest everything you want, whenever you want, then you don’t need to find out more about this.
  2. You have the opportunity to network with hundreds of other people who are working as hard as they can to change their lives for the better. To find their dreams. To make the world a better place. And it’s not ‘network’ in the sense of a mutual spam-fest like most networking opportunities (recruiting other course members is strictly forbidden), but developing deep lasting friendships and contacts who have seen you at your worst and vice versa (and still love you! I’m looking at Trish and Dayna here), and people who have your back. People who actively wish you well no matter how crazy your dream seems to them.
  3. Even though Mark and Davene have been doing this for something like 15+ years, this online thing has only been a couple years in the making, and the pay-it-forward thing much less time than that. I think we were the second class to do that and it changed the whole nature of the course. You’re getting in on the most revolutionary educational program in the world, on pretty close to the ground floor. Mark sees this going to 30,000 someday; I see it going much farther. I’m not using hyperbole here, I’m just telling it like I see it.

So that’s why I think you should at least look into it. If you want to know when the introductory videos come out which explain the course in detail then fill out one of my newsletter forms and follow the directions. And I’ll email you. Simple as that.

I run three businesses, have a family, and I’m working day and night on getting to my dreams, so I’m not interested in spamming you.
